Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 19, 2026

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of stag.build products, websites, APIs, and beta services. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You must be legally able to enter into binding agreements. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Accounts and Security

  • You are responsible for account credentials and access keys.
  • You must maintain reasonable security controls for your repos, integrations, and secrets.
  • You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or security incidents related to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful activity or to violate third party rights.
  • Do not interfere with service integrity, availability, or security.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or abuse of system limits.

5. Customer Content and Permissions

You retain rights to your code and content. You grant stag.build a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content only as needed to provide the service and support operations.

6. Beta Features

Beta features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Beta services are provided without service-level commitments and may contain errors or incomplete functionality.

7. Feedback

If you submit suggestions or feedback, you grant stag.build a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve products and services.

8. Fees and Billing

Paid plans, if applicable, are billed based on the pricing terms presented at purchase or in a written order. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

9. Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other. The receiving party must protect it with reasonable care and use it only for the purpose of performing under these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

Except for the limited rights granted in these Terms, stag.build retains all rights in the service, software, and documentation.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, stag.build disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, stag.build is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

stag.build’s aggregate liability for claims arising from these Terms will not exceed the amounts paid by you for the service during the 12 months before the claim.

13. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the service. Either party may terminate access in accordance with applicable plan terms or for material breach. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the contracting stag.build entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
